Who we are
Founded in 2016 by Dr. Antonio Ciccone as “MERIDIANA ENERGY ALBANY,” it is an Albanian joint-stock company based in Vlorë, initially active in the renewable energy sector. Over the years, it expanded its interests to beverages, food, and nutraceuticals, funding research on proteins and superfoods. In 2022, with the entry of new investors, it changed its name and statute to align with its ambitious goals. Today, led by Dr. Ciccone and an experienced management committee, MERIDIANA NEXUS is ready to “unleash the future” with an ambitious investment program.
We acquire existing companies, organize them according to our standards, and promote their growth by improving efficiency and competitiveness.
We initiate projects in our areas of interest by creating SPVs for new initiatives, structured to attract investments and promote sustainable innovation.
We support visionary young entrepreneurs by providing mentorship, resources, and networks to help startups achieve success.
We invest in research activities, collaborating with institutes and universities to develop new technologies and innovative solutions.
We are always ready to listen to anyone with an innovative vision or an idea to realize, without prejudice. We believe that a person is not defined by their past, what they have done, or their appearance, but by who they truly are.
